As a non-profit organization, the Jud C. Hickey Center for Alzheimer’s Care is funded by grants and donations from individuals and the corporate sector.   Donations help provide scholarships for clients who otherwise would not be able to attend the Center.  Gifts also fund projects to refurbish the Center and provide our clients with the most homelike surroundings possible.

In addition to our fundraising events, we mail two letters each year, one at Thanksgiving and one at Mother’s Day/Father’s Day to remind our friends of giving opportunities.  A gift honoring the memory of a loved one, friend or associate offers an appropriate expression of your sympathy to grieving families. Families often choose to designate memorial gifts to benefit the Jud C. Hickey Center in memory of a loved one, often one who had Alzheimer’s disease or was a client at the Center. Likewise, gifts honoring birthdays, anniversaries, holidays or other special occasions are excellent alternatives to traditional giving. The family of the person being memorialized or the person being honored receives an acknowledgment card listing the donor's name. The amount of the gift is always kept confidential. The donor also receives a gift acknowledgment card.
